Would you like your receipt? (2023) is an installation that exhibit in my BA degree show.

It consists of sculptures and videos, which illustrate consumerism and my personal shopping habit.

In this project, I cast foods I bought in a supermarket. Food just disappears when we eat them, but I gave them new meanings by casting.

Vegetables and fruits evolve to look more beautiful, and ugly things are thrown away and only beautiful things are chosen to be sold to people like pink salmon,

and I buy them to just satisfy my desire or appetite.

In the video, I tried to re-arrange aubergines to look more attractive to consumers, and in the other video, I did plastic surgery for the plaster aubergine.

The sculptures installed are exaggeratedly colourful and glossy to attract people, or have completely lost their original colours.
